I’m a well-rounded computer geek.
I work at Google as a Site Reliability Engineer in Waterloo, Ontario. SREs are responsible for ensuring that our services are reliable and fast. We make you think, incorrectly, that computers work. SRE is about building systems that work, even when their parts don’t.
I’ve helped support products like Google+, Cloud Run, and Cloud IAM – all with high reliability requirements. I’ve also worked on internal infrastructure to advance the state of the art for first-party microservices by creating a production platform now in broad use across the company.
I’m not looking for new work.
